MYSORE: It is an arduous task, but this 42-year-old man is determined to accomplish it.K R Chandrakumar is on a mission to break his own Guinness record set in 2005 by dancing for 168 hours. This time, he wants to dance for 360 hours (15 days). Last time, he performed in a playground at Malleshwaram in Bangalore.
On Wednesday, he performed Shivatandava, a classical dance form.
He will combine both classical and folk dances.
Hailing from Kanakapur town, Chandrakumar works as second division clerk in the forest department at Ramanagar. He leant the nuances of dancing at the age of 10. In 2003, though he attempted to set a new record, he managed to perform only for 121 hours.
He takes a break for 15 minutes after 8 hours' of performance. Though he wrote to the district administration seeking a doctor's assistance to check his health condition, which is mandatory under the Guinness Book guidelines, the health department turned down his request.

Nagarathna said there are dance sequences from popular Kannada and Hindi films which he will perform on July 12.
